Anyone interested in playing golf next year, there will be a mandatory meeting on June 2nd right after school in Mr. Edmundson’s Health Room. If anyone has any questions, please reach out to coach Edmundson before the meeting.

The boys’ lacrosse team won their away game against Sagamore Middle School in overtime this Wednesday at a score of 11-10. The boys played a terrific game with positive energy and with a never-quit attitude helping them come back from a 4-goal deficit to eventually clench the win. This win improves the boys record to 7 and 2 on the season with one last game to play on Monday home against Hauppauge.

The WTR Boys and Girls Track teams have had great success on the track this past week!

The Girls team, Kate P, Audrey E, Caitlin L, Emily R, Nicky H, Sydney M, Maddie G, Binahelle C, Juliet F, and Abby W have been outstanding in the sprint events. For the longer running events, Caitlin B, Kate B, Keira M and Lily K all posted great times! With the long and triple jumps, Keirsten R, Harley P, Alexa B, Sasha B, and Sirena Z continue to post personal bests. Olivia P continues to demonstrate consistency in her throwing events.

The Boys team also posted excellent times for the sprint races. They are Connor B, Owen C, Tristan L, Thomas L, Ben O, Harrison C, Judah M and Jack G.  For the longer events, Chase A, Danny B, Michael M. Chris M and Jackson R all posted great times. Finally, Dexter K continued his dominance throwing the discus while Quentin A dominated in the long jump.
