Did you know that May is “Get Caught Reading” month? What better way to enjoy the warmer weather than with a good book!
As you read throughout the month, stop by the library to record books that you finished reading. Each book that you complete puts one raffle ticket into the pot to win a prize at the end of this competition. Let’s see who reads the most books throughout the month! You can track the progress on the display screen in the library, which will be updated daily. The winner will be announced at the end of the month!
ATTENTION ALL 8TH GRADE STUDENTS

Attention 8th graders – today is the final day to order your graduation memorabilia! Lawn signs and Class of 2026 T-shirts are available, so be sure to place your order before the deadline.
Grab yours so you can wear it on Spirit Wear Fridays and at the Summer Festival with the rest of the WTR Class of 2026!
And don’t forget – the WTR Boutique is open today, so stop by and check it out during lunch! Let’s make it a great Friday, WTR!
Next week is Staff Appreciation Spirit Week, and students will have fun ways all week to show appreciation for amazing teachers and staff who make WTR such a great place every day.
We kick things off Monday with Thank You Note Day, so start thinking about a teacher or staff member you’d like to thank with a note, card or drawing! A little appreciation goes a long way!
The boys lacrosse team won their away game yesterday against Hauppauge Middle School at a score of 16-6. The boys’ hard work and relentless effort along with mature leadership has helped guide them to a 2-0 start on the season. Their next game is this Friday home at home against Longwood Middle School.
