National Junior Honor Society Applications for 8^th grade students are due Wednesday, February 11^th to Ms. Spataro in Guidance.  Please see Mrs. Nelson with any questions.

 

Anyone looking for community service credits can complete a well wish card for the Marty Lyons Foundation.  Check the Community Service Google Classroom for details and visit 128a for supplies if you need them.

 

Attention to all 8^th grade students! Mrs. Sciotto is currently collecting all 8^th grade permission slips for the end of the year’s festivities.  Extra permission slips are available in the main office.  Please see Mrs. Sciotto in room 205 with any questions.

 

Attention all Piano players:  Piano NYSSMA forms are now available from any school music teacher.  Stop by today so you can sign up.  All forms are due by Friday, February 6.

 

It is time for our annual Ronald McDonald House fundraiser.  We are doing this to support the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.  Every year, the generosity of our community has made a difference for children and their families facing some difficult times.  We will be collecting food and drink items.

We are doing it a little different this year.  Each grade will have their own collection window and as always, all items will be brought to your A-block teacher.  The A-block class in each grade that collects the most items will win a bagel breakfast.

We will be starting with 7^th grade and your items may be brought in from today until February 6^th.  The 6^th grade is February 27^th – April 1^st and 8^th grade will be April 13^th – May 13^th.

You can see your A-block teacher for a list of items that have been requested by Stony Brook.  An e-mail was sent home to your parents and guardians as well.
