Boys Basketball practice on Wednesday, November 12 will be at Kings Park High School until 4:30pm. Team members will take one of the following regular after school buses to the High School: Bus 69, 58, 65, 57, 54
We are asking our WTRMS Community to make a difference in the lives of veterans families. Please bring an item from the Veteran Wish List. You can drop your contribution in the bin in our lobby or bring it to room 128A. Donations will be accepted through Wednesday, November 12th. We are also holding a Veterans Day event today during lunch periods. Check the Community Service Google Classroom to sign up and for details. :)
It is that time of year again, it is the season of giving. The student council will be collecting food to create meals for Kings Park families in need this holdiay season. Please bring your donations to the boxes in the main lobby. We are looking for Thanksgiving-themed foods but any goods are wlecome as we try to help people in our community have a great holiday. Please remember all items must be UNOPENED AND UNEXPIRED. This food drive will end on November 20. Thank you!
On Saturday, Kings Park School District and Kings Park gymnastics team hosted the annual Coaches Invitational meet which supported the Wounded Warrior Project. KPVG and their families raised over $950 for our veterans. Congratulations to the following gymnasts who completed in the invitational meet: 7th graders Sydney Martinsen and Amelia Savage, sophomore Mikayala Mongiori, senior Erin Griffin and congratulations to 8th grader Mackenzie Cairns who placed 1st on the balance beam!
In addition, congratulations to the All-League gymnasts; 7th grader Amelia Savage, Junior Ariana Blatt and senior Giovanna Mancuso.
Lastly congratulations to the following All-County gymnasts; 8th grader Leslie Lee who will be competing vault and senior Blakely Hand who will be competing bars, beam and floor at the individual championships this Friday.
