October 24, 2025 - Day 2
Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country team on their win against Candlewood yesterday in the last meet of their season. Judah Millen and Cassidy Pober both won their races by a huge lead. Contributing to each win were Kake Persichelli, Dexter Kahn, Harrison Collins, Jack Kabelka, Annabelle Ross, Emily Vasquez, Mackenzie Greeney, and Keira Manzelli. Everyone had a great final race. Thank you to the whole team for all your hard work and dedication.
The boys soccer team won their away game yesterday at Brentwood Middle School at a score of 2-1. Every player left it all on the field with great teamwork, determination, and heart from start to finish. The boys’ last game of the season is Home Tuesday against Brentwood Middle School.
The Girls Soccer Team has done it again! Another win against Brentwood West 6-0 yesterday. A great team effort with great sportsmanship. Thanks to Mr. Nally for cheering us on.

Our last game is away at Brentwood North on Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
Any boy interested in trying out for the basketball team please report to the cafeteria after school next Thursday, October 30th. We will discuss tryouts that will start on November 3rd. The meeting will be brief. See Mr. Soltysik with any questions.
We will be collecting candy for donation to Branches in Middle Island. Candy will be collected in the Assistant Principals Office until October 29th (Tuesday) and candy bags will be made for community service afterschool in the LGI and donated. If you or your student would like to take part, please complete a Student Candy Bag for Halloween form which is located in the main office.
Heyyy William T! Guess what time of year it is, it is HALLOWEEN!!! Do you know what that means? That means the school dance is happening! Get your spooky costumes on and come join us at the school dance – October 30th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Buy those tickets at the security desk for only $5.00 during all lunch periods!! Because Halloween dance is happening! There will be music, dancing, and you will want to wear your best, and scariest, costumes since there is going to be a costume contest and prizes! HURRY! Buy your tickets soon starting October 23 so you can join us at the fun! Have a great day!!!
Monday kicks off Red Ribbon Week at WTR! This week represents OUR commitment as a school to be DRUG FREE. To promote this movement we will participate in spirit days to highlight the goals of Red Ribbon Week.
