Are you ready to be a leader??? Come and join the Leadership Bootcamp.
The Smithtown Youth Bureau will be hosting a Leadership Bootcamp where you can learn how to effectively lead a group through practicing social skills, communication skills, planning & problem-solving skills. The class will meet for 4 Thursdays from October 16 through November 6th.
If you are interested in joining, please fill out the permission slip. We have copies in the main office if you need one. You must return the permission slip by October 10th.
Space is limited and it is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Attention all students: an informational meeting for the school musical will be held on Wednesday, October 8th, in the band room. We will find out what the show will be, and what to prepare for auditions. Please see Mr. Zatorski in the band room with any questions. We hope to see you there!
The first meeting of the STUDENT COUNCIL will be today. If you are interested in joining and participating this year you must attend the meeting in Ms. Harding’s room 120, House C, downstairs at 2:30 today.
Any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in playing volleyball this school year, please join the Google classroom if you have not yet done so.

Congratulations to the girls cross country team on their big win against Stimson yesterday. Cassidy Pober won the race placing first. The girls ran a competitive heat with Annabelle Ross coming in 3rd place, Emily Rivas Vasques placing 4th, and Mackenzie Greeney coming in 5th. Keira Manzelli secured our win placing 8th. A great race was ran by all. Excellent job everyone!
Congratulations to the following Kings Park gymnasts who placed top 3 in their meet against East Islip. Eight grader, Leslie Lee scored first on vault with an 8.235 and second on bars with a 7.95. Seventh grader Amelia Savage scored third on bars with a 7.05. Senior Blakely Hand took first on bars with an 8.425, first on beam with an 8.85 and first on the floor with a 9.0. Good job girls!
