Today is Popcorn Friday during 6th grade A-Block, period 8/9.
Project Friendship that is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, February 12th is CANCELED!
The PFA is happy to announce the return of the School Boutique on Friday February 14th during lunch periods. Come shop and check out all of our new merchandise, Valentine items, gifts, candy and much, much more. Kindness grams pick up will also be on Friday, February 14th during lunch time! All purchased items can be picked up at that time.
Coming soon, PASTA AND POPS!!!! Do you have a special talent? Are you a singer or a dancer? Are you an actor or actress? Are you a part of an ensemble? If so, would you like to participate in a fun event with WTRMS Student and teacher performances? If you are interested, please come to an informational/interest meeting on February 12th at 2:30 in the cafeteria. Students will be dismissed in time for the late buses. The actual Pasta & Pops event will be take place on March 21st at 6:00 pm here at WTR. The tickets will be $10 each and only $5.00 if you are an 8th grader or younger. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
Beginning todayh, WTRMS will recognize P.S. I Love You Week, offering a series of community service opportunities for our students. This week, which culminates in P.S. I Love You Day on Friday, February 14th, focuses on mental health awareness. We encourage our students to promote kindness and create a welcoming environment at WTRMS. This year’s theme is “A Brighter Tomorrow Begins Today”.
P.S. I Love You Week Community Service Programs:
February 10, 2025 – 7:30 am – Learn about P.S. I Love You Day Extravaganza with Dr. Servidio – P.S. I Love You Day is a day dedicated to raising awareness about mental health, promoting kindness and preventing bullying. It emphasizes the importance of embracing differences and lifting each other up.
February 11, 2025 – 2:30 pm – Coffee Cup Sleeves. Coffee cup holders will be available to decorate after school with illustrations of positivity from William T. Rogers and will be distributed at 3 Sons Deli.
February 13, 2025 – 7:30 am – Our Students will have an opportunity after school to write thank you letters to our local heroes, including making cards for health care workers at St. Catherines’ Hospital, and making valentine cards for patients at the St. Johnlands Nursing Home.
February 14, 2025 – Lunch Periods – PFA Kindnessgrams!!
