Attention all 8^th Grade Students:  Permission slips are due TODAY for the end of the year festivities.  Please be sure to bring all permission slips to Mrs. Sciotto in Room 205 as soon as possible.

There will be a meeting on Tuesday, February 4^th during A-Block for all Ms. Picone’s students who are taking the National Spanish Exam.  Please come to Room C233 with your chromebook for a brief feeting immediately following the morning announcements on Tuesday.

As a many of you are aware, the Super Bowl is next week, so it is time for our “SOUP R BOWL”!  Support your team and the struggling families of Kings Park by donating soup or crackers in this time leading up to the game.  The boxes are located in the center of the lobby and labeled with the two teams.  Put your donations in the box for the team you want to see WIN.  ON Friday, February 7^th we will announce who is the team to beat according to WTR!  So support your team and support your team and support Kings Park.  Thank you!!

Our collection for the Stony Brook Children’s hospital is currently in full swing.  We are collecting food items for the Family Lounge at the Ronald McDonald House that is located in the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.   We are kindly asking you to consider donating to such a wonder cause.  We are having a contest in each A-Block.  The A-Block class that collects the most items will win a bagel breakfast.  All items are due by February 7^th.  Please bring the items to your A-Block class.  As always, thank you for your support.

Attention All Students:  The Town of Smithtown, together with the Smithtown Youth Bureau will be conducting a study skills program here at WTR.  You will learn organizational skills, time management, note taking skills, test taking strategies and some useful mobile apps.  The program will run once a week for 3 weeks beginning Thursday, February 6^th, 13^th and 27^th after school untl 3:30.  If you are interested in attending the program, please stop in the main office and pick up a permission slip.  Enrollment is limited and is on a first come, first served basis.  All permission slips are due back to the main office by January 30^th.
