Congratulations to the William T. Rogers Kickline team! On Saturday theyplaced 2nd at the Long Island Dance Team competition. Way to go girls!! There will be NO PRACTICE AFTER SCHOOL TODAY.
Boys basketball ended the season last week with 2 wins. Finalizing their record at 5 and 5. Thursday game came down to the last few minutes. With the help of 2 clutch buckets from Chris game time Schor, the team went up by 3 points. Owen Dorsey hit a big time foul shot to increase the lead to a 2 possession game. Then, on a huge diving hustle play by Dylan Schor, the boys walked into victory. Great defense and rebounding by Big Bad Joe Santarpia, Michael Gonzalez and Cooper Hickman. It was a great way to end the season,. Well done fellas!!
It is time for our annual Ronald McDonald Family Room collection. The Stony Brook Children’s Hospital is partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities. We will be collecting food items to help fill the family lounges where the families have a calm restful place to unwind while remaining close to their child.
We will be having a contest and the A-Block class that collects the most items will win a bagel breakfast. All items are due by February 7th. Please bring the items to your A-Block class. You can check with your A-Block teacher to see what items are needed if you are unsure.
